When subscribing to our server management plans, clients entrust us with the administration and maintenance of their servers.
By default, root access is not provided to clients under managed service plans to ensure security, stability, and consistency in server configurations.
2. Root Access Policy
If a client insists on receiving root access, our responsibility is limited to system monitoring, issue resolution, and general maintenance.
Any changes, modifications, or configurations made by the client after receiving root access are outside our scope of responsibility.
3. Data Loss & Security Disclaimer
If root access is granted to the client, we are not liable for:
Data loss resulting from misconfigurations, accidental deletions, or security breaches.
Unauthorized access due to client-side security weaknesses.
System failures or performance degradation caused by client modifications.
4. Service Coverage & Limitations
With root access granted to the client, our role shifts to a best-effort support model, which includes:
Resolving issues as they arise.
Monitoring the system's health.
Providing recommendations.
However, we will not be responsible for restoring configurations, recovering lost data, or troubleshooting issues caused by client-side modifications.
5. Agreement & Acknowledgment
By accepting root access, the client acknowledges these terms and agrees that our responsibility is limited to the service scope defined above.
Any disputes regarding system stability, security, or data integrity after granting root access will be considered outside our liability.
